Homeless Connect - Collection Tubs at Walter Talor Ward Office

Homeless Connect brings together business and community groups twice a year to give free services to the homeless, or those at risk.

Services include:
-medical care;
-legal advice;
-accommodation referral;
-personal grooming items; and
-clothes.

The project has helped over 4,200 people since Brisbane City Council held the first Homeless Connect in Australia during November 2006. Similar events are now held in Perth, Hobart, Adelaide and the Gold Coast.

The next Brisbane Homeless Connect will be held on Wednesday, 11 May 2011.

With City Hall closed for refurbishment, the event will move to the RNA Building, 10 and 11 The Avenues, Alexandra Street, Bowen Hills.

***DONATIONS***
To donate items such as toiletries, bedding and clothes, visit our Ward Office, at 70 Station Road, Indooroopilly during March and April and place donations in the orange Homeless Connect bins.

Thank you for your support.
